AV&R Aerospace’s robotic systems apply precise and consistent coating to aerospace components without leaving drips, inconsistencies and wasteful overspray, which are common quality issues encountered with current application methods. Uniform film build up and precise film thicknesses can be achieved within ± 2 thousandths of an inch with greater speed compared to manual operations.

AV&R Aerospace has implemented robotic coating application systems managing many layers of material and the entire processes of drying and cooking. Coating, lacquer and varnish are often robotically sprayed by its team of painting specialists. Dipping, immersion, dispensing of glues, along with sealer application have also been automated.
